CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic is the lower house of Parliament; it examines and approves draft laws, which are then submitted to the Senate; it also decides on a vote of confidence/non-confidence in the Government.

The Chamber of Deputies is composed of 200 deputies elected for a 4‑year term.

The Chamber of Deputies is the main centre of the legislative process in the Czech Republic.
