SENATE OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic is the upper chamber of the Czech Parliament.

The Senate reviews laws passed by the Chamber of Deputies.

The seat of the Senate has been the Wallenstein Palace in Prague since 1996. The Senate has 81 senators, elected for six years.

A third of the senators are re-elected every two years.
