VÍTKOV HILL
At a height of almost 260.4 metres above sea level, there is a monument to one of the most important Czech heroes, Jan Žižka.
It is worth climbing up just to see Prague from above.
Žižka’s bronze statue is one of the ten largest equestrian statues in the world.
Vitkov Hill is also where the National Monument stands, built in honour of Czechoslovak legionaries and to commemorate the founding of the Republic.
