ČESKÝ KRUMLOV

Český Krumlov is a castle in southern Bohemia, 170 kilometres from Prague. It is considered the second largest castle in Bohemia after Prague Castle. It was first mentioned in writing in 1240.

It was rebuilt for 600 years. In 1947 it became the property of the Czechoslovak Republic. In 1992, the whole historical complex was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

You can get there by train from the main railway station in Prague with a connection in České Budějovice.
