KŘIVOKLÁT
Křivoklát was long used as a prison for alchemists. The castle has been the setting for films such as Girl on a Broomstick (Dívka na koštěti), The Angel of the Lord (Anděl Páně), Salt is More Valuable than Gold (Sůl nad zlato) and others.
The castle is 73 kilometres from Prague.
How to get there? From the main railway station in Prague, take a local train to Beroun station, from there take another train to Křivoklát station (35 minutes), then walk for 5-10 minutes.
